London, July 13. A message of greeting and congratulation from Premier Lloyd George was read today to the International Zionist conference.

It follows: “I send heartiest congratulations to the first world’s conference of the Zionists since the war on the restoration to the Jewish people of their national home. I am confident that the Jewish people will display those qualities of energy, determination, tolerance, wisdom and consideration for their fellow citizens of Palestine which Is necessary for their success. If they will do so, I believe that the Jewish people will once more make a great and beneficent contribution to human progress.”

The message was received with great applause.
